Traditional Bodywork Therapies
Traditional table massage is available by appointment only. This is a locally-grown bodywork enterprise for those who don't want the franchise/factory spa that is staffed primarily with new and inexperienced therapists. Our staff are seasoned experts combining varying modalities into their work according to their talents.
Our main staff start from a western, or swedish-based modality expertise, because that is what most people ask for. If you are specifically looking for Thai, Shaitsu, Reflexology, Craniosacral therapy, or another specialty, please let us know beforehand so we can arrange the proper therapist for your appointment.
The basis of massage is touch, and there is increasing evidence to show that receiving massage or bodywork on a regular basis is beneficial in the reduction of stress. Massage and bodywork techniques trigger many relaxation responses: to breathe more deeply, to ease muscle tension, and to slow down to our body's normal pace for everyday living.
